Hope Cottage is approximately 200 years old. It has been recently renovated.

It sleeps up to 5 people but an extra bed can be put in the double bedroom for a child if needed.

It is located on Ticklemore Street parallel to Fore Street and just off the Plains in the Totnes. Easy access to river and walks.

It is in easy walking distance from the Train Station at Totnes and many visitors prefer to leave their cars at home and use public transport.  Within 5 minutes walk you can also get to the main bus and ferry stops which enable travel around South Devon to be made simple.

 

 
 
Hope Cottage has 2 bedrooms- it is centrally heated throughout.
  • A double (an extra folding single bed can be placed in the double room for a child if needed)
  • A single bedroom
  • A lound dining room with digital TV, DVD player, an open fire, folding extra chairs, games, DVDs, jigsaws. 2 sofas one being a sofa bed,(which is very comfortable)
  • A kitchen with gas cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave and plenty of pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glasses to make you feel at home.
  • A bathroom with a new shower, toilet and sink.

Outside is an enclosed area which provides privicy to enable you to relax and soak up the sun.

There is a:

  • courtyard garden which is great for sunbathing and BBQs.
  • table, chairs 
  • washing line.
